Fiona Allison

Indigenous Legal Needs Project,

Fiona Allison is a researcher working at the Cairns Institute, JCU, and Jumbunna, Institute for Indigenous Education and Research, UTS. She is currently working at the Cairns Institute on a collective impact project focused on improving outcomes for 0 - 12 year olds in the Southern Corridor of Cairns. She has also been working with collective impact and justice reinvestment frameworks in the NT and QLD and Chairs Justice Reinvestment Network Australia. 

Other focus areas of Fiona’s work are Indigenous access to justice issues in criminal and non-criminal contexts, including through health justice partnerships; community development; and human rights.
